Rana Products Used
with Bacon and Peas
1 – 12 oz. pkg. Giovanni Rana Prosciutto Tortelloni
1 ½ cups fresh green peas
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 Tbs. butter
Parmigiano Reggiano, grated
Prepare tortelloni according to package instructions along with the peas, in the same water and drain, reserving ½ cup of cooking water.
In the meantime, heat butter and oil in a sauté pan over medium heat, just until butter is melted. When tortelloni and peas are cooked, add them to pan. If necessary, add enough cooking water to the pan to achieve a sauce-like consistency. Toss pan to incorporate all ingredients.
Plate tortelloni and finish with a drizzle of quality Balsamic vinegar and Parmigiano Reggiano.
